What I wore to see Micasa in concert

Having not been to an outdoor musical show since before COVID, I knew finding an outfit would be the biggest challenge after social anxiety.

But entrusted my girl Pinterest to help me explore some outfit options, Coachella had just happened, so I also garnered inspo from the girlies on my TikTok fyp.

I knew I wanted something cool and hot, but also warm because I knew May would be a little chilly.

I browsed Pinterest for some ‘musical festival” and “Coachella” outfit ideas, and these are some of the outfits that came up that I was drawn to. This is what I saved to the board.

What kept coming up was knee-high boots, so that would become the starting point of the outfit.

I was attending with my partner, so one weekend we decided to take on Wernhil (I don’t enjoy going there). We started with The Fixx, where he found this lovely muscle tee that I can’t wait to throw fits with, myself.

For me we found my boots in Dunns, my skirt in Big Daddy and the sports Jersey in Mr Price. It was a journey but all worth it in the end, because here’s what we put together.

I felt cute and cool, the boots weren’t too high, which made it comfortable walking and dancing in them. When the sun went down, it got chilly, so I threw my denim jacket on and loved the fit even more.

I accessorised with a scarf on my head, which added the Coachella festival vibe. For my bag, I carried my green crossbody bag. I also wore my red Ray-Bans, which I picked up in Algiers last year. Love them!

Not sure I will be going to any show again soon, I might just be a one-show-per-year girlie, haha. But I thoroughly enjoyed this look and the show.
