I was asked to speak at One Economy Foundation’s Content Creation Masterclas
One afternoon, we received an email from the One Economy Foundation asking me to speak at their upcoming Content Creation Masterclass. The best part? It was for the small business owners in their network. As we all know, I’m really passionate about that, so I said, “Yes! Let’s do it!”
Something I set out to do more of this year was get over my fear of public speaking and actually get better at it. We’re almost halfway through the year and honestly? I haven’t worked on the craft at all. I still suck.
But as always, if someone finds my talk useful, learns something they can implement in their life or business? I take it as a win.
The One Economy Foundation team did an amazing job putting the event together. The people in the room were so ready to absorb, engage, and learn new ways they could consistently show up online.

The speaker lineup and topics were so well chosen, I even learned a few things myself:
✨ Malulu Angula from Multichoice reminded us that “done is better than great.”
✨ Mr. Soni of Facilit8 shared useful tools to help make showing up online easier.
✨ Paulo Coelho from FoxLove Digital highlighted the power of branding.
✨ And Mufaro Nesongano from CRAN urged us to be mindful of what we post and how we engage online.

For my talk, I focused on the mindset shift it takes to show up online. I walked through how to create content strategies that speak directly to your target audience and shared some of the tools we use to help our clients stay consistent.
The masterclass was insightful and reminded me why I do what I do.
I loved sharing, hearing about everyone’s passions and businesses, and the exchange of knowledge.
Well done to the team. I’m so grateful to have been included.
